Terms of service

The Outdoor Survival Canada Website, including all information and materials contained on it (the “OSC Website”) is managed by Duvet Comfort Inc, 130 Commander Blvd, Scarborough, Canada.  OSC offers this website, including all information, tools and services to you, the User, conditional upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated herein.

The terms and conditions set out below (the “Terms of Use”) apply in conjunction with the Privacy Policy on the OSC Website. By using the OSC Website you consent to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

OSC may change the Terms of Use from time to time and if such changes are made, we may place notices on the OSC Website so that you can be aware of them. You must check these Terms of Use for changes each time you intend to use the OSC Website. Your continued use of the OSC Website will be on the Terms of Use as amended from time to time.

Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and that you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.  You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).  You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.  A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your access.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.  You understand that your content (not including Credit Card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks; and changes to confirm and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.  Credit Card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us.  We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.  These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same Credit Card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.  In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will notify you by email or by the phone number provided.  We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store including your email address and Credit Card numbers and expiry dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as required.

OSC reserves the right to change the information on the OSC Website at any time without notice.

While reasonable care is taken to ensure that the information contained on the OSC Website is accurate, we cannot guarantee its accuracy and OSC provides the OSC Website on an “as is” basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to the OSC Website or the content contained on it including any text, graphics, advertisements, links or other items. Any warranties which would otherwise be implied by law including, without limitation, warranties as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose or skill and care are hereby excluded.   We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear in the store.  We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate. In addition, neither we nor any other contributor to this website make any representation or gives any warranty, condition, undertaking or term either express or implied as to the freedom from viruses or defects of the content contained on the OSC Website or that such content will be provided uninterrupted or error free.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of our Site without express written permission by us.

Exclusion of liability

Whilst we will take reasonable care to maintain the continuity of the OSC Website, the Internet is not always a stable medium, and errors, omissions, interruptions of service and delays may occur at any time. OSC does not accept any ongoing obligation or responsibility to operate the OSC Website (or any particular part of it).

If you choose to send any electronic communications to us by means of the OSC Website (whether by means of e-mail or through forms made available on the OSC Website), you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that such communications will not be intercepted or changed or that they will reach the intended recipient safely.

Consent

Help us spread the OSC love! We so appreciate all of our fans sending in testimonials and photos of themselves wearing and using OSC products. By sending in material, it is understood that you are giving us permission to use your photo on our website and other social media platforms. We will not use last names, but may use a first name and location ONLY for privacy purposes (if you wish for us to share your photo, but not your name and location, please indicate when sending). Testimonials and photos are only used for the purpose of sharing with other OSC fans.

Links to other websites

The OSC Website may contain links to other websites or addresses on the Internet. When you access certain links on this website you may leave the OSC Website and any such other websites are not part of the OSC Website and do not belong to us. We have not reviewed any of the websites linked to the OSC Website and we do not endorse or accept any responsibility for the content of such linked external websites, nor the products or services on them.
